| Our children truly loved the shallow, sandy shoreline. We had 5 warm sunny days to spend in the warm lake water. We were able to enjoy 2 Walleye meals from Pelican Lake. What a treat to eat such very fresh tasty fish. Gordon & family |
| What a peaceful week enjoying God's creation. Watching the herons, eagles, the mother ducks with their ducklings and even a loon. The kids enjoyed catching crawfish and small fish off the dock. The highlight for the kids was tubing, spending hours and hours being towed behind the boat. We spent awesome quiet evenings reading the book "Rascal" to the kids, wondering if that curious raccoon was out in the woods. Most days were concluded with beautiful sunsets. | Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful decorated and clean cabin. Our family had a great time fishing, boating, swimming for hours, feeding the four families of ducks and catching dragonflies. | This was our fist time renting a cabin, and we had a wonderful time! We were very impressed as to how clean and nice this cabin was. You furnished all the amennities to make this a comfortable and relaxing week. The weather was beautiful all week. Our boys (ages 5 + 7) loved fishing and swimming. | Very nice cottage, made us feel like we were home. Beautiful weather for late September, 80's in the daytime and 50's at night. Caught our fair share of fish on Pelican: Northern, Bass, Walleye, Perch, Crappie and of course Bluegill. 15foot boat was nice to fish from. Saw duck season open. | Returned from Sunset Beach Cottage this afternoon and catching up on my emails. Wanted to let you know, our group totally enjoyed our time at the lake. It was a hot week but glad for the a/c, and the lake house is very accommodating! Enjoyed watching the hawks dive for fish and saw a couple eagles. Our first time in the Northwoods.
